My dog normally gets kibble but had dental work done and had to be on soft food for a while. This food was recommended as being easy to transition. It is good quality, not outrageously expensive as some "specialty" wet dog food can be, and doesn't smell too bad. We had no digestive or other issues transitioning directly to this food from the kibble, and the main issue transitioning back was my dog's disappointment.
My Papillon is a very picky eater. This turkey dog food, smells good and is easily digested and not fatty.
He never has any digestive upset and I think quality meat is used because he is satisfied after delicately enjoying each bite. Have bought several times, when he stopped eating RX low fat food.
Our miniature dachshund is 16 and has so many food allergies. This food has helped and is easier for her to eat. We do mix it with another LID wet food to improve her acceptance of the flavor.
